Dear readers, it is with great pleasure that we bring to light our Fourth issue of SKBU Journal of Philosophy, a platform dedicated to fostering critical discussions, debates, and reflections with this issue on the most fundamental questions of Epistemology and Ethics . As we embark on this intellectual journey, we invite scholars, thinkers, and enthusiasts to engage with the complexities, nuances, and intricacies of philosophical inquiry. Our mission is to provide a forum for rigorous, interdisciplinary exploration of the human experience, encompassing topics from metaphysics and epistemology to ethics, politics, and aesthetics. In this fourth issue, we feature a diverse range of articles, essays, and reviews that showcase the richness and diversity of philosophical thought. Our contributors explore pressing issues, challenge prevailing assumptions, and offer innovative perspectives on timeless questions. In this journey we have with us brilliant Professors as reviewers from various Universities along with our Departmental Professors, whose debt can never be repaid. Their support has not been as professors but as friends as well, We hope that the journal will become a catalyst for meaningful dialogue, a spark for new ideas, and a testament to the enduring power of philosophical inquiry. As we navigate the complexities of our rapidly changing world, we believe that the pursuit of wisdom, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity is more essential than ever. Thank you for joining us on this journey. We look forward to exploring the depths of human understanding together.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Sincerely,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Prof. Dinanath Ghatak,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Department of Philosophy
