In brief, we expect all concerned to abide by the following norms:

The research being reported should have been conducted in an ethical and responsible manner and should comply with all relevant legislation.

  • Researchers should present their results clearly, honestly, and without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation.
  • Researchers should strive to describe their methods clearly and unambiguously so that their findings can be confirmed by others.
  • Researchers should adhere to publication requirements that submitted work is original, is not plagiarised, and has not been published elsewhere.
  • Authors should take collective responsibility for submitted and published work.
  • The authorship of research publications should accurately reflect individuals’ contributions to the work and its reporting.
  • Funding sources and relevant conflicts of interest should be disclosed.

Review Process:

  • All academic and research articles submitted for publication in Akademos are subject to screening and editorial review and Double-Blind Single Peer Review.
  • Editorial review reserves the right to reject a paper without sending for peer review if submission guidelines are grossly neglected or cannot clear the editorial screening.
  • Identities of the authors and the reviewers are strictly kept concealed in compliance with the Blind Peer Review policy. After receiving review report, the author of the article is informed about the status of the article along with the review report and reviewer’s comment(s).
  • In all cases the author of an article is informed through e-Mail. In general it takes at least six to eight weeks from the deadline of submission to receive peer review report. However, we do not believe in rushing reviewers. So, there is no process for a rapid review and contributors are requested to be patient.
